Our Star Child

About 2 months ago we started a Star Chart for James. In order to get a star he needed to go to bed when we told him to (8pm) and he needed to stay there. Well, today he got his last sticker.

The promise had been that if he completed all 28 sticker spaces that he would then get a scooter. James has been wanting a scooter since May month. He loves them and always wants to go on his friends scooters. We realised last week that he was coming to the end of his sticker chart so we ordered him one and it arrived this morning. All day today he has been over excited, but he knew that he had to wait for Daddy to get home to get his scooter as Daddy had to build it. So, when Gareth walked in the door tonight, instead of his usual Hello Daddy from James, he got, Hello Daddy, come build my scooter. He barely gave Gareth a chance to put his bag down. He wanted it now. So here is James about 10 minutes after Gareth got home from work on his scooter.
